I painted this from a reference video grab from a movie on TV. i liked the scene because of the sparkling water and the myriad of colours that filter through the trees. Made some changes to the background and brought in the sky which was non-existent in the video grab. Water colour on 400gsm hand made paper 22 x 14 inch. Before painting this i made a smaller version of size 8×6 inch study, which looked more spontaneous and more transparent.
