Hogenakkal falls

The mystic nature of waterfalls presents an excellent topic for painting.  Here i have tried to capture Hogenakkal falls in Dharmapuri, Tamilnadu.  I drew the inspiration to attempt this after seeing a demo of a Dhuadhar falls painted by Bijay Biswaal at Chitrakala Parishath (Bangalore) sometime back.   Water colour on 270gsm hand made paper 22 x15 “.   painted from a reference photograph from internet.
