Mahabalipuram Beach

The shore temple at Mahabalipuram is a visual treat be it morning or evening. I painted this because the evening scene is challenging, and i had to paint the shore temple without highlighting it, yet make it prominent and then keep the focus on the beach and fishermen… Hope i have succeeded. water colour on handmade paper 400gsm 22 x 15″
