Back waters have a distinct charm of their own.  I tried to capture the haziness and the light scattering through the coconut groves with this painting which was referenced from a news paper photograph in Times of India. I am not very impressed with the layering that i had to do on the trees, and the water..should have been able to paint it in one go!  May be next time when I revisit this subject 🙂  Water colour on 300 gsm handmade paper 22X14 inch.  Changed the water a bit!
