This is a painting from a scene in my memory of my school days.  Come April when the yellow flame trees are in full bloom, my school (Madras Christian College High School-Chetput, Chennai) would be a bed of yellow and the roads lined up with yellow flame! First Train would arrive at Chetput railway station at around 15 mins after the school finished.  A few of us would dash to the railway station to catch this train and beat the crowd that followed behind 🙂 Water color on 220gsm 11.5 x 5 inch
